Superb experience and activity while on vacation. See remnants of Mayan rituals and actual skeletal remains from human sacrifice. Beautiful surroundings and cave is very large with only a few tight squeezes. You are wet the whole time but not cold.

Altun Ha and Belize City Tour
On our honeymoon, we decided to book off the cruise ship for better prices, and I'm so glad we did! Our prices were cheaper, and our tours were much more intimate, in fact, we were the only two on the tour! Melanie met us outside the terminal, and we got in her car after she took our picture in front of the Belize sign. Mel was funny, smooth, and knew her stuff. She gave great shopping hints (buy from the locals off the port!) And was just super fun! I definitely recommend her and her company, and look forward to visiting some of the other sites around Belize.
Melanie was our guide out to Altun Ha ruins. Very knowledgeable, very personable, and we felt completely comfortable with her. The lunch was awesome as well! We were met exactly where they said they would be when we got off the ship.
All in all, I would say Melanie made this a great first trip to but Belize!!

Altun Ha and Running in Belize
The Altun Ha tour and run along the coast were spectacularly supported by Belize Fun Tours. Of all our excursions from our ship on its week-long tour, Lou's was the friendliest, most professional and the one I learned the most from. Our entire group was talking about this excursion over and over again the rest of the cruise!

Fabulous, interesting, learned so much!
Our guide, Ben, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He answered every one of our hundreds of questions with patience and warmth. He was from the area, so he had a firsthand knowledge of the ruins and he went far beyond what we expected to give us an extensive background on not only the ancient Mayan peoples, but current residents of the country and their backgrounds.
