My four friends and I booked this trip a few weeks before arriving in Belize. We stayed in San Pedro, so we had to take the 6:30 am water taxi over to Belize City. We arrived in Belize City around 8 am where our guide, Randy, promptly met us. From there, the drive to Xunantunich is about 2 hours. On the way, Randy answered any questions we had and shared tons of history regarding the ruins and Belize in general. We walked around Xunantunich, listened to more history, took pictures, and saw some incredible views from the top of the ruins! After that, it was about an hour drive back to where we would zip line, eat lunch, and then cave tube. Zip lining was unbelievable. About 7 or 8 runs over beautiful rivers/trees/etc. Our guides there - Oscar and Glen - made us feel super comfortable and safe. After zip lining, we ate a quick lunch on the property, then geared up for cave tubing. Randy guided us through the caves while again sharing tons of neat facts/stories. We had an incredible day and would recommend this to anyone interested! After the cave tubing, we changed and headed back about an hour to get to the water taxi. We arrived at 5 pm, just in time for the last water taxi back to San Pedro at 5:30 pm. It‘s a long day but 100% worth it!! Thank you, Randy and thank you, Belize Tours Marketplace!!
